A Woodsy Great Room Retreat
A cozy blend of natural textures, warm woods, and contemporary comfort.
Nestled among towering trees and wrapped in the warmth of cedar, this A-frame home feels cozy and secluded.
The heart of the home is the combined family and dining room, a generous but cozy space where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Erin loves how her Article pieces bring a fresh, contemporary contrast to the natural elements of her home without sacrificing comfort.

In a wooded acreage
800sqf
Original oak floors
Unique wall panelling and a large stone wall
Cozy and rustic, with a modern twist
The Timber sectional in Olio Green pairs beautifully with Erin's rich wooden panelling.
The Gusfa dining chairs ground the space with a nice contrast against the rock wall texture.
Erin paired the two Turoy spinning lounge chairs for cozy chats or scenic views
The linen-blend fabric and solid wood legs of the Timber sofa complement the rustic space and vintage vibe.
The boucle fabric of the lounge chair offers a nice textural difference to the space.
Erin pulls out the stackable Gusfa dining chairs to make room for extra dinner guests.
What do you love to do most in this room?
I love to have my large, extended family over where we gather over food, exchange stories and laughter, and have quality time connecting. It's also the space we play cards, read, or snuggle up on the couch to chat about our days with our 8 and 10 year old children.
