After reading some reviews saying it doesn't look like solid wood, I was reconsidering my purchase but once I received it I loved its simplicity. While it does have more of a manufactured than a "raw/natural" wood look, the quality is high enough that there is nothing fake about it. It looks like real solid wood just processed into something paneled and smooth.

Honestly, not great. Good packaging, easy to assemble, looks nice. But it scratches so dang easily. Our 30lb dog managed to get on the table for not even a second and put several very unsightly deep scratches in the table.
